Pino

Pianist

Pino is a passionate musician with years of experience not only in teaching but also music arrangement and accompaniment. He is familiar with a large range of genres, ranging from EDM to pop music, even music from the 60s. Pino has organized and / or participated as a session pianist for over 100 public performances and events. Pino has also arranged many songs, particularly cantopop originals during his career as a musician.

Beginner Level (3-6 years old)
Intermediate level (7-10 years old)
Advanced Level (11-18 years old)

Course Outline

Beginner Level:

Basic understanding of key, bass & chords
Basic patterns of pop songs
Basic rhythm of pop songs
Basic structure for pop songs

Intermediate Level:

Concept of inversions & basslines
Typical chord progressions
Understanding of a fill-in
Patterns & rhythm of rock/pop songs

Advanced Level

Further understanding of chord substitution & colouring
Principle behind modulation & transposing
Learning advanced patterns, rhythm & fill-in
Sheet music writing

*Performances may be in-person or pre-recorded, depending on the actual situation
